Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced NoSQL/SQL Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will:

• Design, develop, and optimize relational and non-relational database systems.
• Collaborate with software developers and system architects to define database requirements.
• Develop and maintain complex queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, and security by implementing best practices.
• Create and manage data models, schemas, and ETL processes for data integration.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Perform data migration, transformation, and mapping as required.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and implement them to enhance project outcomes.

Project Types

As a NoSQL/SQL Developer, you will work on diverse and challenging projects, including:

• Designing and developing high-availability database solutions for real-time applications in healthcare, retail, and logistics.
• Implementing data pipelines for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Optimizing existing database structures and queries to improve system performance.
• Building secure, scalable, and robust database systems for SaaS products.
• Participating in sprint cycles to deliver database features and improvements.

Requirements

3 – 6 years of experience in the following technologies:

• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server.
• NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
• Query optimization and performance tuning.
• Data modeling and schema design.
• Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• ETL tools and processes.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git).

The following experience will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB, Google Cloud Spanner).
• Knowledge of database security and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell).
• Certification in database administration or development.
